Governing Board Discusses Potential Dates for the Transition to Blended Learning
State restrictions on the return to in-person learning prohibit the transition to Blended Learning on September 14 as previously planned. At the September 2 Governing Board meeting, the Board voted to consider potential dates for reopening based upon logical breaks in the academic calendar once Los Angeles County is eligible to open for in-person instruction. Potential dates for reopening will include October 19 and November 16. These dates can only be considered if the County determines that schools are eligible to reopen at that point.

Learning Post Academy's New Location
Hello and thank you for your interest in Learning Post Academy. Effective June 22, our campuses (Learning Post High School and Hart @ Home) will be moving to a new location and it is anticipated that the phones and possibly emails may not be up and running until July 1, 2020. Mrs. Velek has served the William S. Hart UHSD as a teacher at both Canyon and Golden Valley High Schools, as an assistant principal at Placenta Junior High School and Hart High School and as a principal at Early College High School and Rancho Pico Junior High School. Click the photo to learn more.
Grade Change Instructions and Forms
Students may request a grade of credit to replace a letter grade of A, B, or C for any course taken during the Spring 2020 term as part of the district's adjusted grading policy for COVID-19.

Connor Styers
Connor Styers is an AMA nationally ranked motocross athlete. He has also competed in Supercross Futures Championship, resulting in many top ten finishes. Connor is striving to become pro in the next few years.
Seth Lagana
Seth works with a local theater program called, Escape, and recently performed a major role in their production of The Wizard of Oz and will be performing in many more productions throughout the year.
